By now all of you should have received your newsletters. Please take a few minutes to read them, as it contains important information for you.
There is a section on parking rules. It lists all the parking rules that will be enforced. The new parking patrol will begin servicing our community next weekend. Please be aware, you will receive a ticket for any infraction of the rules. Once you have received 3 tickets for the same offense, you WILL be towed on the 4th occurrence. NO EXCEPTIONS! The Association is not responsible for any damage to your car if it is towed and the owner of the vehicle is responsible for paying all towing charges. Photo documentation is taken for each and every ticket issued. If you are having a big gathering at your house, you must inform me so that I can inform the patrol and we can make arrangements for all the additional vehicles. The rules are as follows:
PARKING REGULATIONS
•Vehicles parked in driveway cannot exceed past the white lines on the driveway into the street. No perpendicular parking.
•No parking in the street/roadway – especially next to or near marked “No Parking areas & Fire Lanes & any yellow striped areas
•No parking on grass within community
•No parking without resident decal or guest parking pass
•No vehicle storage in guest parking spaces *time limited to a 24 hour period only* (If same vehicle is always in the guest space, it gets ticketed after 2nd occurrence and towed on 4th ticket)
•No Commercial Vehicles/No ladder or equipment racks
•No Commercial lettering, signage or graphics
•No boats, personal water craft or trailers of any description
•No missing license plates
•No expired registration tags or expired temporary license plates
All of you were given parking passes when you received you parking decals, please keep a batch of them by your front door in order to put them on the dashboards of your guests. If you have lost your passes, contact me. If you have not yet received your decals, then contact me immediately. I will require that you fill out 2 forms and we need a copy of a current utility bill and copies of each car registration (not car insurance card). If you have tenants in your unit, we must have a copy of the current lease and a current utility bill with their name on it.
Swift will be closed on Monday for Labor Day. I want to wish all of you a Happy and Safe holiday!
